November 2014

As you can see i didn't lose weight in few weeks or months.
It took me years.
My heaviest was 55kg.

I'm not a nutritionist or anything like that.
I just did a lot of research online.
So here's what i did back then.

First, I ate a lot of rice back then.
2 portions or even more. That much.
I was then found out that rice or carbs is not the food you want to consume too much of.
So i slowly cut down the portion of my rice.
To replace that, i ate more of the veges or meat.
Then, i found out that to reduce a big portion of meal,
you need to drink a glass of warm water. So I did. It helps.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I DON'T EAT SNACKS.
Don't ask me why. I just don't.
When i craved for it, i would buy the big package and eat the whole thing.
Then i wouldn't crave for it for quite some time.

Then, I started to eat oats. Those Quaker quick oats the chocolate flavor?
Yeap that kind.
I had it for dinner.
If you have a lot of spare times or the urge to do so,
search for healthy recipes online or smoothies are great, too. There are tons of them.
This is so that you won't get bored having oats and fruits everyday.
When i'm still hungry, i'll eat fruits.
And no supper.
Have your dinner before 6 or 7 pm if possible.
Or just don't eat anything heavy after 6 pm.

I started going to the gym since 2011 (i guess. i can't remember)
i did treadmill for 20 minutes then i exercise with all those gym machines.
When i had 9 months gap, before my uni, I went to the gym 3-4 times a week.
Usually it's once every 2 days.
I also did attend the Yoga classes at my gym's place.
I love yoga! it was painfull at first.
sure you'll wake up the next morning with body ache,
but you'll enjoy the peacefullness later on.
ONE MORE THING
Never go to gym without eating anything.
You won't have the energy to burn those calories.
I tried before.
I went to the gym right after school. I think I almost fainted.
My head wa spinning like crayyyy.

SO
Basically, all i do is cut my carbs portion,
eat more fruits,
eat oats for dinner,
and exercise.

SO
All the best to all the "dieters" out there.
REMEMBER
Being skinny doesn't always mean beautiful. Having an ideal body and healthy is.
ALWAYS
put your health as the priority.
NO ONE WANTS TO BE WITH A SKINNY GIRL WITH LOTS OF DISEASE.

สวัสดี ค่ะ (Part 2)

Sorry if i took quite some time to post the Part 2.

Day-4.
After a great dinner on the cruise last night, we woke up very early today (like freaking 5 am?) to go to the Damnoen Floating Market.
Well, there is nothing very significant there except the floating part.
i wouldn't suggest you to go if let's say you're going only for a couple of days.
Plus, if you're going to buy something there, please please don't be stupid to not negotiate and cut down the price as much as 50%-60%.

Mango sticky rice. Bought it from another boat. Tasteless and expensive.
What we had for lunch ... chicken fried rice (i guess) and pad thai. LOVE LOVE pad thai.

After the floating market, the tour guide brought us to this elephant place.

I was very terrified with the elephant... just dislike them.
Coconut ice cream. Not as good as the one from Chatuchak though.
Good enough to cool down the heat.
After that, we went to this wooden art gallery place.
The carved woods are extraordinary.
It definitely need a lot of skills.

After that artsy place, we went to this gemstone industry.
But then i wasn't allowed to take any pictures. So yeah ...

The trip was quite exhausting especially when you woke up so early.
So we decided to get back to the hotel and relax and have a nap for a while.
Plus, i wasn't having a slight fever that time.
So after a good few hours of nap, we head out for dinner at Nara.

their Popiah. not bad.
It's chicken curry i believe.
PAD THAI <3
The fish was fine. I would prefer another one in the menu.

Day-5.
So we woke up pretty early today (without any alarm).
We went out to have our breakfasr+lunch :p
We had chicken rice which is just the opposite of the hotel we stayed in.
It was very crowded so we give it a try.

And i would honestly say, chicken rice by my mom is way much better :p
After that, we went to Central World and ate at CoCo Ichibanya Curry House.

It's chicken mushroom curry plus some kind of fried chicken cutlet.
After our meals, we went shoppingggg :D
well, i shop. he carries :p
We went to Platinum to shop and the stuffs there are extremely very cheap.

Got back to the hotel around 7 pm to put our (my) stuffs :p
Then, we went to Somboon Seafood.
We rode Tuk-tuk to get there. HAHA
This place was recommended by my brother so we give it a try.
They're famous for their Curry Crab.
it turned out not that good though.
I later found out that we went to the franchise place rather than the main/first restaurant.

The famous Curry Crab
Ordered veggies to complete the meal.
Original Pineapple-Thai Fried Rice.
Very aromatic steam fish.
;D
Last Day.
We checked out and went to Central World to have our early lunch.
First we bought these cute little donuts.
From left to right, Coffee, Vanilla (i guess), Banana, Coconut.
The coconut one was da BOOM.

Then we ate pizza. (Definitely Papa Ron's is better :p)

Pepperoni Cheese Pizza
After our pizza and donuts session, we went to the food hall(?), some kind of a supermarket.
We bought some local snacks to bring home.

THOSE ARE SOME HUMONGOUS DURIANS.
As we still had time after our shopping session and before going to the airport,
I decided to go back to After You and eat dessert.
I ordered their Panooki and it turns out very small.
As small as a piece of soft cookie. But it tastes good.
Now i'm craving for it ... OMG

After dessert, it was time to get back to the hotel and head off to the airport :(

Few last words, ... (quite a lot actually.)
I would like to thank my boyfriend for this amazing trip.
Yes i was being an asshole sometimes one of the days, and i'm sorry for that.
I had an extremely great time with you.
Can't look forward for the next trip and another trips for the rest of my life <3
I love you :)

Sawasdee Ka สวัสดี ค่ะ (Part 1)

Sawasdee Ka à¸ªà¸§ัสดี ค่ะ

So here's the story ...
We have planned this trip for quite some time,
but then there were always a point where we got into a fight and then we cancelled the trip.
This time, he bought the ticket without me knowing it.
When i asked about the trip, he said 'You must be ready whether the trip is on or not"
On the 11th of October, i went back to Medan.
I surprised him with a visit to his house.
We went out for dinner with his friends afterwards.
...
We were about to go somewhere else after dinner, then there was a paper stick to the windowscreen.
He told me to take it, so i did.
I thought it was a brochure or smth like that. but guess what?
It was the flight tickets!
I couldn't stop smiling at that moment. Just simply couldn't be any happier.

First day, 17th Oct 2014
We met at Bangkok's airport. We went to the hotel and check-in right away;
put our stuff and went out (as i was so hungry that time).
We went to Central World and ate at a Thai Restaurant.
Loving my first meal at there <3

I was like, "Dude! Let's imitate these mannequin"
Then there was a grandma who laugh at us by doing so ...

We strolled around after dinner and found a crowded ice cream shop.
So yeah i tried. The ice cream were quite sweet for my liking. but it was okay.

After Central World, we went around the market along our way back to the hotel and outside the hotel.

Day-2.
Went to the Madame Tussaunds today and just simply walk around Siam.
We tried a lot of street food and loving most of them <3
Oh! i also went to try the famous 'After You' :)

Selfie with Soekarno :p

His dinner

Day-3.
We woke up quite early today. around 8 or 9 am.
We managed to go out around 11 am.
We went to chatuchak weekend market during the day and then had a dinner on cruise.
The cruise is called "Chao Praya Princess Cruise".

Coconut Ice Cream... YAY
This thing is da BOMB!
