I broke up with my boyfriend.

I got a message from Peter that his mom and dad and Roni is going to Singapore to visit him. 

And, he said that I'll be going, too. 

At first, of course, i refused and i explained why. But then he said that they've bought the ticket for me. Then i had no choice.

26 September 2014

I went to Singapore today. I arrived there at 3.45 pm. Went to the hotel straight away to put my stuff and met Peter and his family at Paragon. 

I would honestly say that things weren't that awkward. Not as awkward as i thought i would be. 

So, long-short story, i got back with my boyfriend :p

Every day we went to orchard road and strolled around.
We had Din Tai Fung on the first day;

Macaroons

333 Bak Kut Teh at Balestier for lunch and Brotzeit for dinner on Saturday.

I finally got the chance to try Godiva's soft-serve ice cream! which is the most expensive ice cream i've ever eaten in life so far. S$ 8 each.

 

Went to ION's foodcourt for lunch on Sunday. (Carrot cake!! YAYY!!)
Then dinner at Takashimaya's foodcourt. (I had mango pudding ice smth. i can't remember the exact name, but it was delicious)

Overall, i had awesome days with them :)  enjoyed the short-unplanned trip so much <3

OH and I got a present from my babe! :D
a short funny story to share with y'all.
I bumped myself into the mirror...
I felt very insecure as i got to choose the things and the colors myself, which is kinda an awkward thing for me to do.
Roni told me to call his mom for her passport for the GST claim. When i was about to walk to his mom, i didn't really see where i was going, so yeah... I bumped into the mirror.

On the 29 September 2014, I went back to KL and they went back to Medan.
My flight was 9.45 am and theirs were 8.30 am.
So we went to the airport together.
Got myself a cup of caffe latte and a slice of tiramisu (which taste good!) after they went into the waiting room.

My flight was delayed for 30 minutes and they made us wait in the plane.

When i've reached my room, i unpacked my stuff and i found a letter ...
I was very touched and my tears were about to drop ...

I know it's a broken english, but at least he tried :')

A friend of mine named Regina, she messaged me and told me to meet her at Starbucks. It was around 12.30 pm. I was in my room by that time to take my laptop and was about to go down anyway. So I waited for her at Starbucks and she told me to wait there for awhile.
ANDDDDDD it was Roni coming from my back and hug me <3
I was in complete mind-blown.
I just met him last 24 hours and now he was there standing in front of me.
Then he said he was hungry and so we went to Backofen (which is one of the restaurants in Taylor's).
I had class at 2-4 pm so I went for it.
And i need to clean my room, so i cleaned it after class.
Meet up with Roni at 7.30 pm and we went to Jibby and Co. to have our dinner :)

Still mind-blown...
Because i don't have any classes on Wednesday, we went to Antipodean, Bangsar to have our lunch.

All day breakfast x smoked salmon omelette x bali date cake with butterscotch sauce

Then we went to Midvalley and The Gardens to shop. (a VERY tiring day)
Later at night, we went to Acme Bar&Cafe to have our dinner.

We went to Jojo's Little Kitchen for Lunch and then we went to Burger Factory afterwards. (Yes we kept eating) :p

I have a class at 2 pm so yesterday he decided to go back to Medan today with a-5pm flight.
At first he didn't want to go back but my assignments are pilling up. He feels pity for me, so he decided to go back so that i can do my assignments :p

Blink-blink

So here's what i was saying on my instagram. Something funny (starring me) :p

Grandma

On her 77th Birthday. 3rd of June, 2014.

She started to get sick since mid-July 2014.

It got worse day by day. She got weaker and weaker.

She couldn't eat much, and her face turned pale, and then yellow by the end.

She went to the doctor, and the doctor said that she's losing her blood.

We didn't know what happen.

Saturday, 2nd of August 2014, I had a morning flight back to KL.

9.30 am.

When I reached KL, I got a message from my mom, saying that my grandma is admitted to the hospital.

She stayed for 2 nights, I guess.

But few days later, I got another news that she's admitted to the hospital again.

And things were getting worse.

She was being diagnosis. and ...

She has a cancer. Pancreatic cancer.

I couldn't hold the tears when i heard the news.

I was told to choose whether i want to go home or penang, because i was going to Penang by the weekend.

I went to Penang by the end, but if anything happen, i would go back immidiately.

The weekend passed and she was still in the hospital.

So i went back last weekend, 22-24 August.

A part of me was tearing when i saw her.

She looked very weak and ... dying. She couldn't walk much as she was lying every single day.

The doctor doesn't allow her to walk either.

She got exhausted easily. 

I spend the weekend visiting her every day, day and night.

On Sunday, she decided to go home. She felt better, she said.

I went back to KL on Sunday afternoon.

The last thing i said to her was that she must eat more so she could be healthy.

She also said, "ni hao hao a" which means, i should be good. (?)

Yesterday, i got the news that she was being admitted to the hospital again.

She was having blood deficiency.

Today, when i was doing my Visual Com assignment, 

i got a phone call from my brother. 6.33 pm (KL time)

He said, "Grandma is having trouble breathing. You need to come back tomorrow. Check the flight ticket and confirm to me soon"

8.30 pm, i got the news that my Grandma has gone.

I was completely speechless although i knew this time will come.

I 've prayed that i don't want her to struggle. If it's the time, then just take her away.

I believe that she's happy up there, meeting my grandpa, her husband, which she misses so much.

You're the best woman i've ever known, Pho Pho.

May you rest in peace.

I love you, Grandma.

Weekend getaway: Penang

Jason, Catherine, Me, Claudia, Sabrina, Eric, Erick

So last weekend we went to Penang. 15th-17th August 2014.

We ate a lot. EXTREMELY A LOT. A bit too much perhaps. HAHA

We went there by 5.30 pm bus, and reached there around 11.30 pm.

We check-in into the hotel and put our things, and went out with much hope to eat durian.

.... but it was close. 

Then we went to a nearby food place and ate satay kacang and belacan crispy stuff ...

i just can't remember what it is called. lol

but there wasn't any belacan in the food. it's just probably the name.

i would honestly say that both stuffs aren't good. 

plus, there were a lot of small green insects at the food place, which made us eat quickly and leave. 

went back to the hotel and had a shower. we went into the guys room and chill.

some played cards, some just stuck with the phone.

slept at 2 or 3 am i guess, and woke up at 11 am.

We went for a dimsum at Prosperous Dimsum, and then to lorong selamat afterwards.

Then, we got to Gurney plaza and strolled around. And guess what?

We went into Toy R Us and we bought an Empire Monopoly. lololol

We ate our dinner at "huana kak" around 6 pm, and then went to a place near Sunway hotel to have our durian.

As some of us (Eric to be exact :p) wanted to play pool so badly, we found a Pool place nearby and got there after our durian session. 

it was 10 pm, we walked pass a food street and some of us were just hungry and bought some food.

Brought back tambun from Ban Heang.

We played the Empire Monopoly and then Double dare.

Jason and Catherine were the victims. 

We stopped playing because we couldn't think of any dares for Catherine when she got it twice.

the girls were very tired and we went back to our room.

i didn't understand why Jason and Eric followed us, but then they disturbed us.

We couldn't sleep as we kept laughing and laughing.

We finally managed to sleep at 3 am, then woke up at 9 am.

The very last day ... we went to Perangin mall to buy an indeed very crispy and delicious double chocolate waffle. okay now i'm craving for it .... asdghjlfdshajf

we went to eat Char Kuew Tiaw and Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul at Lebuh Keng Kwee street.

I never liked chendul, but this one is different. it was absolute delicious. and also the Kuewtiaw.

It's definitely better than Lorong Selamat's one.

The popiah there is nahhh...

We went to Paragon afterwards and had our sweets craving fulfilled just before we leave the town.

it was indeed a very good one. i tried the extremely dark chocolate truffle, and i should say it is the best chocolate truffle i've tasted so far. and everything else, are just wonderful.

Our bus was at 4.30 pm. We played monopoly a long the half way and get dizzy afterwards. hehehe

After we reached Sunway Pyramid, we went to SS15 to eat kaima, which is simply broken burger meats topped with egg and cheese. 

I enjoyed the trip very much and hope to have another trip soon! xx

A Saturday in Singapore

Last weekend, 21 of June 2014, I finally went to Universal Studio Singapore!!

I went alone, but then I met my friends there.

At first I know there are going to KL, but I didn't know they are going to USS as well.

So few weeks ago, when I was in Medan, I met them at the cinema.

We talked for a while, and that was when I found out that they're going to USS.

So I (uninvited-ly) instantly said that I would like to join them.

I asked them whether I can join them or not. and they said yes (WOOHOO!)

At first I hesitate whether I should go or not because it's just the weekend before final exam.

However, after a lot of thinking (No, I didn't think at all. I just know that I must go), I finally decide to go.

Just want to tell you a fact that I couldn't sleep the night before the day.

I honestly say it's extremely too sweet for me but ...
Here I am again with this thing.

I'm not sure what is the name of this one, 

but you can differentiate them by the colour of the paper-wrap.

I arrived at USS before them. I arrived at 2 pm and waited for them for an hour.

It was damn HOT!

So I strolled around Sentosa.

Wanted to get an ice cream but then I was too full for it.

Cinnamon sugar churros.
Not bad though.

We played some attraction and the best one is the Mummy ride thingy.

The sad thing is that the roller coasters are under maintenance :(

So we decided to pretend that we are choosing which one to be printed, 

and we silently took a picture of them. (GENIUS HA!)

So we went out of USS quite early and we had our dinner at Vivo City foodcourt.

but then we end up sharing 1/4 of both dishes only.

It was damn gooddddddd.

I WANT TO GO BACK :(

Here we are after a very long walk from Lavender MRT Station to Golden Mile Complex.

It was indeed a very tiring day.

Honestly, I've never felt so tired before.

But the tiredness is worth the fun.

We finally arrived at Swiss Garden KL, which is the stopping place, at around 5 am.

I had hard time sleeping in the bus because it was cold and not comfy enough for me.

So, they put they luggage in the hotel and we went to McDonald's nearby which is in Bukit Bintang area.

I ordered Big Breakfast and ...

It's different from the one I had in Singapore.

I like the Singapore one A LOT better.

I left around 7 am and reached my room at 8 am.

Short story, I took a bath and slept at 9 am.

At 10 am, my phone rang and it was my uncle calling.

He said he is in KL and told me to go to KLCC in an hour.

So yeah...

I took a bath again and went off at 11 am and reached KLCC at 12 pm.

AND... My uncle wasn't there yet. Awesome.

Had a bit of shopping day and went home at 6 pm.

I slept at 8 pm guys! lol

And woke up the next day at 7 am.

Such a good sleep.

Anyway, I had such an amazing weekend and I would like to thank Angie, Shereen, Hafiz, Bryan T., and Brian N., for letting me joining them. BIG HUGS for you guys!!
